Sugar Bush Secret Puzzle Box by Kelly Snache

This is a unique Secret Puzzle Box indeed!

Crafted by Kelly Snache, it is design #6/10 called the "Sugar Bush," from the Granny's Tea Box Series. It is aptly named after the silk screened image on the souvenir tea chest as seen.
Kelly amazingly retrofits everyday pieces and recycles them into fun puzzles unlike trick boxes seen anywhere!
The tea chest itself is made of basswood, while additional components have been made from Maple, Curly Maple, Walnut and Tigerwood.
Dimensions: 4" long x 3" wide x 3" high.

This piece is #11/24 crafted.
Kelly was inspired to craft this series of boxes by the following explanation "My Granny was the one that first introduced me to puzzles when I was but a wee troublemaker. A tea drinker and fond of puzzles she was and so in memory of her kind and patient soul I dedicated this 10 Design Series to her. How she would have adored these tiny tea boxes boosted with charm and mystery."

A four step puzzle, this piece is unlike others we have seen.
