Released in 1969 by Disneyland, this box will bring back childhood memories. This box functions properly and opens in 7 Steps with a secret drawer. This particular Puzzle Box does exhibit heavier wear than most others we have seen. The Decal is faded but intact and the drawer was broken but glued together some time ago. Because most of these boxes were given to children for play, most exhibit heavier use as shown here. For the price, we believe this box is a steal and is a nice example of a vintage piece from Disneyland!

Nice condition Vintage 6 Sun Sansui Zougan Japanese Puzzle Box. This piece has a Mountain/Lake Scene with a typical Bird/Floral design on the reverse. Makes a pinging sound when the hidden drawer is opened and has a rare ship design as seen in the picture. The main lid has minor warpage that does NOT affect the opening or closing of this piece. Light scratches can be seen on the finish with minor wear.

In all, one of the better pieces we have seen at this price!

Vintage 5 Sun 5 Step Mt. Fuji Zougan Ichimatsu/Yosegi Japanese Secret Puzzle Box Displays Mt. Fuji on the lid and Flower/Bird on the Reverse. This box shows normal wear and has a very unique Ichimatsu/Yosegi pattern on the sides. For the age, a very nice piece. The Water Wheel has been reglued and has scratches along the wheel circumference and it appears the inside has had minor repair. "Japan" is stamped on the bottom. Vintage Japanese Cigarette Puzzle Box Dispenser Retract the lid and watch the little man pop up to dispense your cigarette! Measures* 5 x 3.5 x 2.75 inches	Vintage GERMAN 2 Step Unique Secret Puzzle Box We came across this unique piece and found it to be quite intriguing. Quite old, please notice the wonderful design. This vintage puzzle box is in very nice condition. This piece does function VERY well and has no chips or damage. The lid has a very slight warp which is common to vintage pieces, but it does not affect the smooth opening of this box. LARGE Vintage Disneyland Haunted Mansion Japanese Secret Panel Chest Released in 1969 by Disneyland, this box will bring back childhood memories. This particular Puzzle Box is the LARGER version of the Haunted Mansion Panel Chest and does show MORE wear than other pieces that we have sold. Slides are crafted on each side of this box as it requires OVER 20 steps to open. MUCH more than the smaller Disney box. There is a small splinter of the end panel missing which is shown in the picture. There is some warpage and the slides slide freely when the box is tipped. Inside shows an old Disneyland Price tag of a bit over $2 but doubt that it is original as I believe the price was more on release but am not certain. Wear on these boxes are quite common as many were purchased for childhood souvenirs. THIS BOX DOES HAVE SOME DINGS AND MARKINGS AS IT WAS HEAVILY USED. The Haunted Mansion decal is very nice and intact. I believe this box has a hidden drawer also, but am unable to determine if it does for certain. The opening of the main compartment looks shallow so I BELIEVE there is. Can you solve this Box?? These boxes are extremely difficult to find and is sure to go fast!! Measures* 5.875 x 3.875 x 3.25 inches	Vintage Haunted Mansion Japanese Secret Panel Chest Released in 1969 by Disneyland, this box will bring back childhood memories. This box operates quite well, opens in 7 Steps and has a secret drawer. The end panel above the drawer slides correctly but can be removed. There is a crack inside the INNER lid of this box following the grain of the wood. The crack does NOT effect the opening mechanism of the box, cannot be seen from the outside and is only in the veneer. A nice example of a vintage piece from Disneyland! Fuji Zougan Japanese Puzzle Box This Beautiful Japanese Puzzle Box displays Mt Fuji on the lid, traditional two Scotty Dogs on the back with Yosegi pattern side panels. It requires approximately 20 steps to open as both the lid and back of the box can be removed. Normal wear can be seen on this Himitsu Bako. Opening Mechanisms work well but there is some slight warping of lid. A nice example of a vintage box. Measures* 5.875 x 3.875 x 2.375 inches

Vintage Spring Drawer Japanese Puzzle Box A very nice example of a Spring Drawer Vintage Box, this piece displays trademark Scottie Dogs on it's top. The sides are adorned by a very rare ornate pattern we rarely see. This Puzzle box does have a dull finish and has a small (easily repairable) separation on one side where the bottom panel meets the side joint. Still shows the made in Japan and the original number of series sticker on the bottom on the box. In good working condition and a fantastic piece to any collector of Vintage Puzzle Boxes. Measures *4.625 x 3.325 x 1.875 inches	Vintage Ruiji Japanese Puzzle Box This VERY OLD Ruiji style box is in good working order but does show it's age. Very lightly constructed, this piece has the traditional Mt. Fuji lid. Having a fair amount of light scratches, this box takes 4 steps to unveil the hidden keyhole. It should be noted that there is NO major damage on this piece. The buyer can improve the dull finish with a bit of lemon oil to bring this extremely old piece back to life! Measures *4.25 x 3.25 x 3 inches	Vintage Rare 5 Sun Double Compartment Japanese Puzzle Box This is an extremely RARE piece and we have not seen one similar before. This Double Compartment box has an extremely nice finish for a vintage box HOWEVER, one of the kannuki (slides shown in picture #3) have come loose and the side shows some warpage. The box opening mechanism is NOT functional as the rails separating the two compartments do not fit correctly and this box can be easily separated. If you are handy and can repair this box, we believe it would be very valuable. Having a Zougan Ship on front and Scotty Dogs on the back, we think this piece will not last long for the price! This box is STAMPED "Occupied Japan" and as you can see is simply BEAUTIFUL! Measures* 7 x 4.75 x 2.875 inches
